Just two tickets left! We’re in Mississippi in 1946.  Sister Rosetta has changed the face of gospel music.  She has dared to extend her range of musical appearances from the Church to nightclubs, playing her electric guitar and revelling in her own brand of rhythm and blues.

She persuades the deeply religious Sister Marie to join her on a tour of the southern States but before the trip starts she must convert Sister Marie’s church-based strict tempo playing into something that has a bit more swing …

The show is loaded with rock and gospel hits, sung by our own Beverley Knight MBE, Olivier Award-winner, singer, songwriter and stage personality who herself was much influenced by Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin.

So get those old hands clapping and prepare to party!
