The Opera Appreciation group meets at 10.30am on the 3rd Thursday of every month.

We  watch dvds of opera - usually a full performance takes more than one session, and the choice of opera varies.  We try to alternate comedies and tragedies, so all tastes are covered.  We have recently been watching Rossini comedies (i.e. La Cenerentella) and Verdi tragedies (Othello). 

We are a very low key group and welcoming to new members. All that is needed is an interest in opera, no experience or expertise necessary.
